Where were you born (city)? North York, Ontario
Best Memory About Childhood? Walking (errrr, sneaking…) to the corner store along Bluewater Beach to buy penny candies with Victoria, my very first BFF. Oh, and trying to fly on that same beach!
Best friend in grade school? Grade school lasts such a long time, so I can’t pick just one person. Victoria, Lisa, Anne, Jen, Jacqui, Lucy … the list goes on. I am very lucky to have so many amazing friends.
Favourite band in the 1970’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s? This is a super hard question for someone who practically grew up in amphitheatres, stadiums and arenas, but here goes! Blondie and Chilliwack in the 70s. Whitesnake and various other hard rock bands in the 80s. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette and James Taylor in the 90s. Dave Matthews Band, (original) Maroon 5 and Fall Out Boy (love seeing them live with my daughter, Ivy) in the 2000s. Oh, and I’m still loving James Taylor!
Favourite/Greatest movie of all time? I never remember the names of movies I’ve watched, but “I Love You, Man” is in my top 10.
Best vacation ever? I’ve had too many wonderful vacations to pick just one.
Favourite pastime/hobby? Spending time with family and friends, plus traveling to see concerts at different venues.
Favourite Restaurant? Anna Maria Trattoria in Vaughan.
Favourite Food and Why? Gnocchi because it’s delicious.
Are you superstitious? No.
Favourite song? You’ve Got a Friend, the James Taylor version.
Next place you want to visit and why? Nassau, Bahamas because it looks beautiful and I’ve never been.
The principles you live by? Always be kind. Spend your time wisely. If something goes wrong, make it right. Give generously without expecting anything in return.
What you want to be remembered for? Being a great mom and a genuinely good person.
Favourite Pet? I could never pick just one! I’m surrounded by fur babies as I type this, and I have many more waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.
